Overview
The Mobile Consent Management Platform (App CMP) in BigID enables organizations to manage user consent and preferences for mobile applications on iOS and Android, alongside their existing web (cookie) consent, all from a single, centralized platform.
Built as part of the broader BigID Consent framework, it provides a unified workspace where privacy teams can configure, deploy, and monitor consent banners for mobile apps.
BigID’s Mobile CMP automatically scans mobile applications to detect:
SDKs integrated in the app,
Permissions the app requests from users (e.g., location, camera, contacts).
The system then automatically classifies detected SDKs and permissions into privacy-related categories (such as Necessary, Statistics, Marketing and Preferences), streamlining banner configuration and compliance review.
